RUSH: Last weekend, a new foreign policy expert appeared on the scene. Former Tennessee Titan defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth weighed in on the airstrike that took out General Qassem Soleimani.

On social media, Haynesworth posted an idea for the Mullahs in Iran. He advised them if they were planning a retaliatory strike on America, they should launch their attack on … the White House.

You probably aren’t surprised that his advice to Iran didn’t go over well with normal Americans. Now, maybe Mr. Haynesworth doesn’t know that Qassem Soleimani is directly responsible for killing and maiming American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as the recent attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad and the Saudi oil field. Or maybe, like so many other liberals and elected Democrats, Mr. Haynesworth’s loathing of President Trump means he doesn’t care about Soleimani’s sordid history at all.

But there is one glaring question that Albert Haynesworth’s social media post raises, and it’s this: How long will it take for the marketing department at Nike to realize they may well have found their next big marquee star to go right alongside Colin Kaepernick — a former athlete whose hatred for America could rival Kaepernick’s! It could be exactly what Nike needs. Will they seize the opportunity, hmm?
