You Won’t Believe What Insane Liberals Want to Donate to Justice Ginsburg

by Rush Limbaugh - Jan 8,2019

RUSH: I want to read something to you by a well-known left-wing journalist. It’s a tweet. I want to ask you, “Who thinks this way?” Are you ready? Here we go. It’s Roger Simon. Quote: “If it were possible, would you subtract one day off your life and add it to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s life for one extra day of good health?

“If just 10,000 people did this, it would add 27 productive years to her life.” Now, how many of these fools on the left are gonna read this and say, “Hey, I’ll give up a day! How do I do it? I’ll give up a day of my life. How do I do it? What do I do?” Who thinks this way? If just 10,000 people would die a day sooner than they’re going to and somehow — somehow — transfer that day to the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, why, she could be on the court another 27 years and save us!

Who thinks this way?

I mean, this is beyond ludicrous.

“Mr. Limbaugh, you don’t understand. He’s trying to make a point of compassion. He’s trying to show how big…”

No. This is asinine. This is illustrative of a certain kind of thinking that is scary, funny, hilarious, and quite illuminating at the same time.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

Let me ask you this, folks. If it were possible, would you subtract one day off of your life if it would add one mile to a wall along the southern border? Would you do that? Would you give up one day of your life if it would add a mile?

Would you give up one day of your life if it would add a quarter of a mile? Just think! If 2,000 people did this, it would save thousands of lives by limiting violent gang members and criminals and terrorists from entering the country. It would slow the flow of dangerous illegal drugs. It would prevent the overloading of emergency rooms and welfare programs, and it would protect jobs of those here legally. But I don’t know how many people would give up a day of their lives if it would add one mile.

But keeping a radical leftist on the court forever to write law? (laughing) They’ll give up a day of their lives! I’m sure there’s gonna be people calling and writing, “How do I do it? I would love to give Ruth Bader…” They’ve already offered her their hearts. They have offered their kidneys. Some have offered their genitals. Whatever it takes to keep Ruth Bader Ginsburg alive. If just 10,000 people gave a day of their lives to Ruth “Buzzi” Ginsburg, why, we could have her on the court for 27 more productive years!

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: This is Saul in Brooklyn. You’re next, sir. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.

CALLER: Hi, Rush. Hope you’re having a good day. I have a couple questions on the Ruth Bader Ginsburg thing. First of all, why the left is obsessed with her. It’s not like she’s the most liberal member of the court. But second of all and regarding the tweet. The adjective I would use to most describe that tweet is sad. That somebody would be able to have the power to give their life to someone else and not choose a family member or loved one to give it to, but give it to a person who they don’t even know, a stranger, is profoundly sad.

RUSH: Well, you can look at it as profoundly sad. You can look at it as profoundly silly and profoundly stupid. What he’s talking about — and let me find it — Roger Simon, a well-known left-wing journalist — here it is. Saul, I’m gonna answer your questions here very quickly before we go to the break. Roger Simon tweeted — this would be last night around 8:35 p.m., “If it were possible, would you subtract one day off your life and add it to the Ruth Bader Ginsburg life for one extra day of good health? If just 10,000 people did this, it would add 27 productive years to her life.”

So if 10,000 liberals would volunteer to die a day earlier than they are scheduled to, whenever that is, and somehow that day of their life could then be transferred to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, she would live an additional 27 years. And so the tweet is, if you could do this, would you? Would you give up a day of your meaningless, rudderless, pathetic and irrelevant life so that one of the giants of American liberalism could live your day because you living it doesn’t help anybody. You living one day of your life doesn’t advance anything. You’re a pathetic loser.

Would you give up one day of your life in health to her? Silly? Dangerous? Again, I ask who is it that thinks this way? Leftist weirdos think this way. This is pure make-believe. This is pure fantasy. And for what? What is even the point here? “Oh, yes, I would.” Fine, 10,000 say they would do it. What have you accomplished? What have you done?

So the next question, what explains the obsession with Ruth Bader Ginsburg? It’s a good question, because she’s only one of four liberals on the court. You have Breyer, you have Sotomayor, you have Kagan, and you have Ruth “Buzzi” Ginsburg. Maybe if you want to throw the chief justice in there because he now fancies himself the Kennedy swing vote. But those other three — Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer — are not sick.

There’s no danger that they might be leaving the court. No imminent, no apparent danger, no opportunity for Trump to nominate another Kavanaugh type. But with Ruth “Buzzi” Ginsburg, why, the unspeakable and the unacceptable may be on the verge, and that is Trump getting another chance to nominate one of his judges.

So that’s why they have this obsession. There’s more to it than that, but that’s basically the explanation for this. And it’s really not so much about Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It’s about maintaining abortion as constitutional. It’s about a paranoia related to that coupled with the fevered hatred they have for Donald Trump.
