RUSH: This is big — Mark Meadows, Freedom Caucus member, the United States House of Representatives, tweeted last night, quote, “We have learned new information suggesting our suspicions are true. The FBI and the Department of Justice have leaked information to the press and then used those same press stories as separate sources to justify getting FISA warrants to spy.”

So, in other words, a story about X, they plant it, they give it to a journalist, the journalist runs it. The FBI then takes the story that they planted as though they’ve had nothing to do with it, they run to the FISA court and say, “Look, Judge, look, the story is out there. We need to surveil.” They’re interviewing people today about this latest practice to subvert the entire process.
