RUSH: Folks, you want to hear a real crock? Politico says that Judge Brett Kavanaugh faces the widest partisan divide of any Supreme Court nominee in recent history. According to The Hill, Americans are more divided on Trump’s Supreme Court pick than any other since Judge Bork.
Based on polls.
Gallup shows 41% of Americans support Kavanaugh’s nomination, with 37% opposed. The Pew Research Center has similar results.
The vast majority of Republicans want Kavanaugh approved. But according to Pew, 53% of Democrats are worried that the court would shift too far to the right under Judge Kavanaugh.
So what does all this mean?
And, despite millions spent by liberal groups on negative ads, and despite poll-based panic stories by the Drive-Bys hoping to derail Kavanaugh, the Democrats do not have the votes, unless there are some Republican traitors. And the odds of that are not good this time around.
