RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, the Democrats caved on the government shutdown. They couldn't even shut down the government as long as it gets shut down on a three-day weekend like the Martin Luther King weekend. This was pathetic.
RUSH: The Schumer Shutdown showdown is over and Trump has emerged victorious.
RUSH: A man died last Thursday without whom this program would not exist and very likely conservative media as you know it today would not be what it is.
RUSH: Remember what the Limbaugh Theorem was?
RUSH: They haven’t lost anything. Folks, this is the establishment. They’re not just gonna sit back and roll over and die.
RUSH: The Democrats took a position on the budget shutdown that they couldn't defend: The DREAMers and illegal aliens over the American little guy and military.
RUSH: I believe that the modern-day Democrat Party has been taken over by the genuinely radical left, and I believe these people think that America must be destroyed as founded.
RUSH: These are the specific stories I talked about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but just ran out of time. It’s a real-time feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
