RUSH: Here is Rick in Effingham, New Hampshire. Great to have you, Rick. How are you?
CALLER: I’m great, Rush. Good to talk to you.
RUSH: Thank you very much. Great to have you with us.
CALLER: Hey, look on 8/8/88 I get up and played golf and shot an 88, but it wasn’t the most important thing I did that day, even though it was a good round for me. It was listening to the Most Dangerous Man in the USA on the radio, Rush Limbaugh.
RUSH: (laughing) Thank you. I appreciate that.
CALLER: It was great.
CALLER: I loved it. But, listen, Rush, here’s my thing. I’ll try to be quick. I don’t understand how you could raise $2.4 billion on campaign funding and blow it and have nobody know your name, Perkins Coie. I never heard their name anywhere on television, network news, cable news —
RUSH: You weren’t supposed to. They were the cutout. They were the people that were effectively — because a law firm creating privacy with attorney-client privilege. That was by design.
CALLER: The biggest failure financially I think I’ve ever heard of, and until a few days ago last week, I never heard anybody else speak their name. I’ve known their name for years.
RUSH: Wait a minute. They want it that way. The right people know how to reach them. You don’t. You’re not the right people. Hillary Clinton and her pals are. They’ve got it wired.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Rush Limbaugh, The Most Dangerous Man in America. Yeah, gotta add that back to the repertoire. Our last caller’s points was gonna be the whole bunch of Perkins Coie people over in Israel trying to sabotage the election of Netanyahu. Well, campaigning against him. That was his point.
