RUSH: You know, just an aside here, folks. I’m reading my tech blogs, and I seem to be encountering an incredible number of entries on these blogs about how to improve your battery life in iOS 11. I read this stuff, and so much of it is just… They write it every year.

I’m telling you, I’ve got this iPhone 8 Plus — I have two of them here — and I have never seen battery life like this. I have never encountered it, and I haven’t made any changes in my system settings or anything. It’s incredible, the battery life! I’ve never seen battery life like this. This is the iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 11.0.3.

But I think these battery life things, “What the hell are people doing?” ’cause it [the power drain] just isn’t happening.
