RUSH: I mentioned yesterday that this late-night so-called comedian Stephen Colbert went over the line with a despicable, just disgusting, guttural attempt at humor where Trump is concerned. The man is harboring so much hate that he’s unable to mask it. As a result, there is a #firecolbert hashtag on Twitter. There’s a massive move, but not because of anything he said about Trump. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

One of his insults of Trump was homophobic. So the left is outraged not at what he said about Trump and not the disgusting, despicable, guttural filthy stuff he said. No, it’s that he made what many think is a gay joke, and that’s just unacceptable. What he said about Trump is fine, that was really funny, we love that, but he had to make a homophobic joke. There’s a lot of focus on this. If anybody else on the right had even done 10% of this, they’d already be gone and maybe have been told to commit suicide on the way out the door.
