RUSH: President Trump has come to the defense of Ted Baxter, come to the defense of Bill O’Reilly.

He says Bill O’Reilly’s a good person. Trump says he shouldn’t have settled: You don’t settle these things; you fight these things all the way to the end; I think he’s a good person.

And this is big. I mean, very few people have the president of the United States speak up for you and come to your defense.

I’m guessing Trump was asked about it in a New York Times interview question somehow. I don’t know that he initiated it, but that was the answer that he gave when it came up, so that’s cool.
