My Advice to Trump: Go Out and Do Rallies to Keep Your Supporters Energized
RUSH: I think Trump ought to continue to go out and do rallies. I think Trump ought to go out and continue to draw 20,000, 25,000, and demonstrate — let the pictures show that the pictures the media is creating are bogus and not representative of public opinion. But that still puts the onus on Trump. If I were Trump, frankly, I'd be kind of ticked off that I have to do that.
Liberals Went Shopping for a Hack — and They Found Judge Robart
RUSH: They find a left-wing hack in a left-wing state that is going to make a left-wing political ruling, and they found it in Robart, and they go to Robart. You say, how can Robart do it? 'Cause he's a judge. It's like anything in politics — and this is politics; this is not law — in politics, you can do what anybody will let you do. The Constitution, you can violate it all day, if your political opponents don't stop you or punish you or make you pay for it.
Ticked Off by the Left’s Takeover of the Judiciary
RUSH: I have been trying all week to avoid leading with my anger over what all is happening here with the left and their essential takeover of the judiciary. Instead of just ripe anger, I have been trying to apply reason to this and inform and educate people on what is going on as best I can. But it ticks me off, folks. I can't tell you how angry it makes me.
Rush 24/7 Stack of Stuff
RUSH: No longer is this just gonna be a long list of stories that I might mention on the program. Now, you will get specifically the stories that I talk about on the program and a select list of a few others that I intended to get to but ran out of time. It's going to be more of a real-time base feature rather than just a generic list of places that I go to prep the show.
Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Back in Jail
RUSH: A record 1,700-plus criminals were granted clemency and released by Barack Obama. Now, one of those criminals is in trouble again.
Trump Won on Issues, Not Personality
RUSH: He got elected on issues of substance, and the truth is that his personality quirks did not hurt him. To some extent they did help.
How the Media Has Changed Since We Busted Their Monopoly
RUSH: They were well aware of the monopoly they had, and, therefore, they did a fairly decent job of hiding… They didn't hide the bias, but they hid the agenda. Now, when this program came along in 1988, that was the first assault on this monopoly.
GOP Establishment Royalty Calls for Worldwide Carbon Tax
RUSH: This is a worldwide effort that has a worldwide taxation purpose. And the thing about a global tax, one that's administered by the UN and that every citizen in the world, give and take a few, is forced to pay, that kind of tax is never undone.
Since 9/11, Western Civilization Has Acted Guilty
RUSH: We acted guilty and responsible after 9/11. It doesn't make any sense.
Why Bill Kristol Thinks We Need Illegal Immigrants
RUSH: I've never heard Kristol say anything like this. I know people that do think this way. I know Republican elites who think this way, but I've never heard Bill Kristol say anything like this.
It’s Time to Cut the Courts Down to Size
RUSH: Who set the Supreme Court, nine people in black robes, as the final authority on any issue? They did. Exactly right. That's exactly right. Marbury v. Madison, the Supreme Court decided, you know what? We're gonna sit here and decide what's constitutional and what isn't. We just decided that we're gonna do that. And so, precedent being inviolable, this is what has evolved. And it's always bothered me, because even low-information people now look at the Supreme Court that way, as the final authority.
The Only Person Who Can Separate Trump from His Voters Is Trump
RUSH: The media didn't make Trump, and the Republican Party didn't make Trump. Trump made Trump. Now, if the media happens to make you, by that I mean, if you are who you are because the media has sung your praises and done a series of soft soap profiles, if the media treats you as a godlike figure and that's why you're famous, well, the media can destroy you the next day if they want to. All they have to do is change the way they cover you.
Flailing Democrats Can’t Stop Gorsuch, But McConnell Should Use the Nuclear Option Anyway
RUSH: I just think if they think they're going to need to nuke the nuclear option to get future nominees confirmed, just go ahead and do it for this and be done with it.
Trump: Big League Tax Cut Coming Soon
RUSH: Today President Trump assured everybody that a big tax cut is coming and that he is on it, and it is not something that has been put on the back burner. It’s every bit front and center as it’s always been,
Keeping a Sharp Eye on the 9th Circus
RUSH: The media is breathlessly waiting for the decision because they are convinced that the Ninth Circus is going to find for Judge Robart and continue to silence and shut down Trump's executive order and his policy of vetting refugees, extremists, terrorists, and others who wish to do harm to the United States.
Getting Tired of Winning Yet? Sessions Sworn in as Attorney General
RUSH: Getting tired of winning? Fauxcahontas does the rain dance all for naught. Jeff Sessions was sworn in as the attorney general today. And Chuck You Schumer is now demanding that the Trump nominee for the Department of Labor, a man by the name of Andrew Puzder, resign.

Rush 24/7 Morning Update: Survival
RUSH: CBS News asks a question that must chill their hearts: “Could Planned Parenthood survive without federal funds?”
How Senate Republicans Can Use Rule 19 to Confirm Judge Gorsuch Without the Nuclear Option
RUSH: Whoever runs the Senate can define what a legislative day is. So McConnell will define the legislative day as the Senate not going into recess and the subject would be Gorsuch's confirmation. He'll invoke Rule 19, and the part of it that says senators can only speak twice about it. When every senator who wants to has spoken twice about Gorsuch, that is the same as getting 60 votes to stop debate. Rule 19 says that debate is over if a single Senate legislative day has taken place with no interruptions, and McConnell could be in charge of that.
A Review of Recent Polling Data
RUSH: They sit up there and they talk about Trump gets his facts wrong, lies. They just… They still don't get it. They have this derogatory, negative impression of Trump voters. They have no idea how they are seen. They really don't.
