In a random act of journalism, the Washington Post exposed how awful the economy is.
First, they tried to sugarcoat Obama’s record. They mentioned the current 4.7% unemployment rate down from 10% in 2010. But that’s where the good news stops.
That number doesn’t count people who have given up looking for work, and the Post doesn’t mention the record 94.7 million Americans who aren’t working. The “labor force participation rate” the percentage who are working, is in freefall. It has dropped under 63%, the lowest since the 1970s.
Men in their prime working years, between 18 and 54, are hardest hit. According to a new analysis of developed countries by the White House Council of Economic Advisors, American men are now third from last. Even countries like Greece, Slovenia, and Turkey have higher rates of working men than we do.
And we can add to the bad news the Post reported:
Millions are working part-time because they can’t get fulltime jobs, thanks to Obamacare mandates.
Millennials can’t find work but have massive student loan debts.
Minority unemployment rates are skyrocketing.
Not to mention the millions who are working for less than they earned before Obama I mean, before the recession.
This Obama economy is a mess. And all Hillary Clinton is promising, is more of the same. Or even worse!
