RUSH: I don’t know what’s gonna happen in the debate tonight. I mean, I don’t. Who does? Trump’s out there promising to try to be more presidential tonight. Rubio says that, if he had to do it over again, he would not have gone negative on Trump. So he’s gonna be dialing it back. We have CNN moderating, so, you know, whether they want to go nuclear tonight or not, we won’t know ’til we see how the moderators are gonna play it. We do know that, if Trump’s attacked, I mean, by definition, he’s gonna respond to it. But Trump is going — says he’s going — to be more presidential, which provides us an opportunity to see what that is.
So as usual, we will have front-to-back, forward-and-backward analysis of everything tomorrow.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Okay, folks. We have the Republican debate tonight on CNN. What is it, nine o’clock? (interruption) Nine o’clock is when this thing starts with probably a two-hour pregame show also on CNN. I don’t know who’s moderating this tonight. I haven’t bothered to look into it. But everybody says that they’re gonna dial it back and be a little bit more presidential, which usually means it’s gonna be a little more boring. But some people might find it more substantive. We’ll see how long that lasts. But this is it for Marco Rubio, obviously, and maybe even Kasich.
