Well, another treat could await the millions of illegal aliens to whom Obama has single-handedly granted amnesty. And that’s cash. If they are given valid Social Security numbers millions can apply for the tax credits created to help the “working poor.”

Illegal aliens will be able to claim up to four years’ worth of the credits — and if they have a big enough family, they can cash out at $24,000. The only thing they have to do is document their earnings for those years. With the huge underground false-documents industry in this country, that’s not a difficult challenge.

Not everyone is enamored of the idea of illegal aliens being paid handsomely for their time living in the shadows. Some Republicans in Congress — wouldn’t you know — are furious at the scheme. They’re calling the payments “amnesty bonuses.”

Texas Congressman Sam Johnson, who sits on the Ways and Means Committee, says he represents “hard-working, law-abiding Texans.” And he wants these “amnesty rewards” stopped.

But immigrant advocates argue that since many illegal aliens pay taxes, they should be able to claim the tax credits like anybody else. Besides, this is America. Even people who don’t pay taxes claim credits and get tax refunds. So why shouldn’t illegals move on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky, and finally get their piece of the pie?

Besides, under Obama, what’s legal and illegal doesn’t matter anymore, folks. It really doesn’t.
