RUSH: Page in Miami. Great to have you. Welcome to the EIB Network. Open Line Friday.
CALLER: Hello?
RUSH: Hello. How are you?
CALLER: How you doing, sir?
RUSH: I’m great. How you doing?
CALLER: I’m doing good, sir. I’ve a question for you.
RUSH: Okay.
CALLER: I’d like the know why Mr. Obama, he’s about to grant amnesty to all the immigrants that came over here illegally. I’m a black male from Miami, and when the Cubans come here, if they make it to land, they get to stay. And if the Haitian people come over, regardless if they make it to land or not, they get sent back.
CALLER: That’s right. And when he ran, when he was Candidate Obama, he promised to do something about that.
RUSH: About what? The Haitians?
CALLER: About the policy, the immigration policy with the Haitians coming over here.
RUSH: Well, let me ask you first. I mean, you’ve obviously been thinking about this since you called to ask me, and if I answer it there’s nothing left to be said. So what do you think is the answer to the question, why are they so eager for Hispanic illegals but not Haitians?
CALLER: Well, sir, I was thinking that because maybe the Spanish people will vote for him but the Haitian people voted for him as well, the majority of the Haitian people voted for him as well, but they go ignored.
RUSH: Yeah, but he doesn’t need any more of those, but the Hispanic vote’s always gonna be up for grabs. He’s gonna need more and more Hispanic groups, and his donors —
CALLER: Yes, sir.
RUSH: — his donors want the Hispanic workers. His donors want the Hispanic immigrants. The poor Haitians — (radio playing) — Oh, is that what’s going on? Page, you’ve got your radio up. You’re listening to the program on our delay to prevent me from calling Sandra Fluke a name again. Well, that’s why it’s there. (laughing) Snerdley’s walking out of the room. Page, Obama’s got 93% of the Haitian African-American black vote. The Hispanic vote he doesn’t. It’s all about votes. He’s got enough on the Haitian African-American side.
