It’s Layton from Alexandria, Virginia, who has read or is reading Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims and wants to talk about it. Hi, Layton. I’m glad you called, and I really appreciate your holding on all of this time. Hi.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. I just wanted to say, first of all, that you have been my idol since I was little. I’ve been listening to your show since I was three years old, and you have inspired me to read your book and call in to thank you for your wonderful writing.
RUSH: Really? I have been your idol since you were three?
CALLER: Mmm-hmm.
RUSH: Whoa! That is amazing. Well, I can’t thank you enough. That’s really special, Layton, and you don’t know how much I appreciate that. I appreciate that more than you can possibly know. Because, A, it’s just really nice, but secondly, I’m really glad that you like the book. ‘Cause we put a lot of effort into that book for people like you, because it’s important to us, to me, that people like you learn the truth of this country and love it because it’s certainly worth that. So you are making my day here again.
CALLER: Well, thank you for writing that wonderful book. And on the back of the book, I agree, because it said that most people think history is boring. But you’ve changed my life in just that book.
RUSH: Well, that is amazing. You’re 10 years old, and this is scaring the Democrats that are listening to this. For a 10 year old to have a book be life changing is amazing. Well, look, Layton, do you have, by any chance, the audio version of the book, where you can listen to it? ‘Cause if you don’t, I want to send you a copy of that.
