RUSH: Harry in Neptune City, New Jersey. Hi, Harry. Great to have you on the EIB Network.
CALLER: Hello.
RUSH: Hey, Harry, how are you?
CALLER: Good. How you doing, Rush?
RUSH: Very well. Thanks very much.
CALLER: Longtime listener, 24/7 member.
RUSH: Appreciate that. Really appreciate that. Thank you.
CALLER: I wanted to call. I have a friend who is an international hit man. He’s a member of the International Hit Men Association of America. I was talking to him last night about —
RUSH: Now wait a second. Wait a second. You have a friend who’s a hit man?
CALLER: Yes.
RUSH: There’s no International Hit Men of America association, right? You’re just making that up?
CALLER: Well, maybe. Maybe. I’m not sure the exact wording of it.
RUSH: Okay. What you’re saying is that this hit man has to be part of some group so people can reach him?
CALLER: That’s correct.
RUSH: I mean if you want to hire him, you gotta know how to reach him and so there’s a group, the hit man group. Okay, so let’s start there, you have a friend who’s a hit man.
CALLER: I was speaking to him last night about the jobs bill. I was telling him about the show. I was listening yesterday at lunch, and his concern was if the —
RUSH: Wait a second. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold it. Your hit man is concerned with the legislation?
CALLER: He is.
RUSH: Okay, now tell me why.
CALLER: Well, he’s concerned that if the jobs bill passes and they put more police officers on the street, it’s gonna make their jobs more difficult, it’s gonna cut into their income, and it’s gonna push more of their work overseas, which means we’re losing more jobs in America because of the jobs bill.
RUSH: That is an interesting aspect of this I hadn’t even thought of. So it’s not gonna stop him from doing his job. It’s just gonna change where he does it.
CALLER: That’s correct. And, you know, this is a person that obviously pays taxes in the United States, so we’re gonna lose taxable income. He obviously has a support staff, that support staff is gonna wind up being outsourced overseas. So it’s gonna have this ripple effect where we’re gonna lose jobs in America by passing this jobs bill.
RUSH: The Senate Democrats actually voted for more crime and more rape because they defeated the jobs bill, so your hit man actually will not have to take his job overseas and his support staff and his tax revenue. So the country has saved his services and his taxes.
CALLER: Once again, it’s great, it’s great to be in America.
RUSH: It is. It really is. Well, have you talked to him since the bill went down to defeat?
CALLER: I have not. I’m probably gonna speak to him tonight. He’s probably gonna throw a party now that it’s been defeated.
RUSH: Well, I’d like to know what he thinks. I’d like to know if he’s happy now that there will be fewer cops trying to catch him as he’s out doing his job.
CALLER: Yeah, I will talk to him tonight and ask him.
RUSH: All right, I appreciate the call, Harry. That’s Harry from Neptune City, New Jersey. It’s a different perspective, folks. That’s something I hadn’t considered. Driving criminals overseas, outsourcing the work, say, to India and other places. If the United States is gonna make it tougher for rapists and muggers and murderers and hit men to do their jobs in America, once again it’s Obama and the Democrats sending that work overseas, offshore, if you will. So we’re joking about it and look at this. We had a hit man actually following this, actually following the vote. I shoulda asked if he was watching C-SPAN, but I didn’t think of it in time.
