While attending the Cannes Film Festival, actor Peter Fonda vented his anger at the great Mc-Pharaoh, Lord O’bama of Moneygall, Ireland. Fonda, who had a hit movie back in 1969, accused Obama of being a traitor over his handling of the BP oil spill in the Gulf.
Fonda told reporters: “I sent an email to President Obama saying, ‘You are an [f-ing] traitor,’ using those words… ‘You’re a traitor, you allowed foreign boots on our soil telling our military – in this case the Coast Guard – what they can and could not do, and telling us, the citizens of the United States, what we could or could not do.’”
Moving from the bizarre to the insane, in a subsequent interview Fonda announced he was encouraging his grandchildren to shoot Obama. You heard me. To shoot him. “I’m training my grandchildren to use long-range rifles. For what purpose? Well, I’m not going to say the words ‘Barack Obama,’ but …”
After rambling about us “heading for a major conflict between the haves and the have-nots,” Fonda summed up his thoughts this way: “There’s no room anymore for a sissy and, like I said, don’t forget that I’ve got grandsons who I’ve trained with long-distance rifles. We have to run like mofos to change this world.”
It will be interesting to see what the Secret Service has to say about Peter Fonda’s ravings. And if Henry Fonda is looking down, you know he must be wishing that at least one night – he had used a condom!
