There was a story last week that Obama is still drawing his crowds, but they’re leaving shortly after he begins speaking. They’re showing up and they’re waiting and they’re forming lines, which has been happening. (interruption) Well, they’ve been… (interruption) Yeah. Some of them have been paying to get in. Not all of them. Well, they’ve been bused in, and some of them are paying to go to fundraisers. But they’re leaving shortly after Obama starts because it’s the same old same old, and it’s right off the teleprompter. And of course what this means is that the enthusiasm gap we’ve been hearing about is real. Now, you look at this: The Democrats have unleashed Clinton, and they’re trying to turn on women.
So they’re bringing out Bill Clinton, because the belief is that nobody turns on women more than Bill Clinton does. I know it’s an intended double entendre: He turns women on and he turns on them at the same time. But Clinton is their big draw here, and that’s not even working, but that plays right into Reverse Operation Chaos. The more Clinton goes out there for Obama, the more Clinton goes out there for Obama ostensibly, save Obama’s bacon, and it doesn’t work, Clinton can say (doing impression), ‘You know, we gave it everything we have for this guy, but the Democrats are staying home,’ and that’s what needs to happen. For those of you who think Hillary got shafted, for those of you who think it was Hillary’s and it was taken away from her: Sit home, you Democrats on November 2nd.

RUSH: This is a report from Michigan from WXYZ-TV Eyeball News at 6, the anchor introducing a portion of correspondent Val Clark’s report about Clinton at a rally in Detroit for the Democrat gubernatorial candidate. This is at the gymnasium that was two-thirds empty.
ANCHOR: There was low turnout at a get-out-the-vote rally in Detroit despite the former president’s appearance. Action news reporter Val Clark has more from Virg Bernero’s camp.
CLARK: Virg Bernero was the one running for governor, but Bill Clinton was the star of this show. He came to Renaissance High School to motivate Democrats to turn out in big numbers Election Day.
CLINTON: Don’t let this man lose because you lose if he loses!
CLARK: This is just one of several campaign stops Bill Clinton will be making here in Michigan today to help get Democrats elected.
FEMALE VOTER: It was very energizing, and I would say that we are just going to have to mobilize.
MALE VOTER #1: I’m gonna get out on the Internet, which I love, send e-mails.
MALE VOTER #2: Make a few phone calls and put Bernero signs on my dogs.
RUSH: Now, what a laugher this is. The report starts out, the anchor says, ‘Low turnout at a get-out-the-vote rally in Detroit, despite the former president’s appearance,’ and then the infobabe, Val Clark, says, ‘Bill Clinton was the star of this show. He came to Renaissance High School to motivate Democrats to turn out in big numbers on Election Day.’ They didn’t even turn out in big numbers for him! Is this all you have to do to be a ‘star’ in the Democrat Party is attract one-third of the capacity of a high school gym to a get-out-the-vote rally, and the media there will call you a star?
