RUSH: There is a montage going around. I watched the video. Here’s the audio of it. Starting in August of 2008 on campaign trail all the way through the present, here’s Barack Obama…
OBAMA August 6, 2008: We’re going to work with your employers to lower your premiums by up to $2,500 per family, per year.
OBAMA October 4, 2008: (crowd noise) We will start by reducing premiums by as much as $2,500 per family.
OBAMA September 6, 2008: We’ll work to lower your premiums by up to $2,500 per family, per year.
OBAMA May 3, 2008: (applause) I also have a health care plan that would save the average family $2,500 on their premiums.
OBAMA January 3, 2008: [W]e’re going to reduce costs, uh, an average of $2,500 per family on premiums.
OBAMA October 7, 2008: Lower the costs of your premiums by up to $2,500 a year.
OBAMA (undated campaign ad): We’ll cut the cost of a typical family’s health care by up to $2,500 per year.
OBAMA March 14, 2008: And if you’ve got health care we’re gonna work with your employer to lower your premiums by $2,500 (applause) per family, per year.
RUSH: Okay, start waiting, America. Start waiting for that. And, by the way, we’re going to insure 32 million more people, we’re going to lower everybody’s premiums 2,500 bucks — we’re going to ‘work with the employers to make that happen,’ see? — and everybody’s going to get all the coverage they want. Isn’t it wonderful? It’s a beautiful thing, is it not?
