EIB Accuracy Rating Methodology

by Rush Limbaugh - Aug 14,2009

RUSH: This is Norah in Peoria, Arizona. Great to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Hello. How are you, Rush?

RUSH: Just fine. Thank you.

CALLER: Hey, I’m curious as to how your accuracy rating is determined.

RUSH: You mean at the Sullivan Group, the opinion auditing firm?

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: What are you curious about?

CALLER: Well, what determines what is audited? Obviously, you have opinions on things. Is it when you say you have a prediction?

RUSH: Predictions are included. But they can’t be factored until the thing I’ve predicted happens or doesn’t happen. I mean it’s an intricate process. The computer program that — I don’t know that I could describe how this all happens, but they only audit opinions. They don’t audit whether I misspeak on a fact or something like that.

CALLER: So if something does not happen, when is it determined that it’s not — or that it’s a negative against your rating?

RUSH: At that very moment. If I predict the sun doesn’t come up tomorrow and it does, then, you know, I lose ground.

CALLER: Okay. Thank you very much.

RUSH: You’re more than welcome. I would love to be able to explain this in great detail, but it is a massively complex — I mean the server farm to handle all this, folks, fills rooms at the Sullivan Group. I mean this is even more complicated than trying to explain my diet.
