RUSH: A little funny sound bite here. This was I guess last night, Showtime has taken over the show Inside the NFL. HBO dropped it. Showtime, which I think is owned by CBS, picked it up, and Warren Sapp, who’s one of my all-time favorite NFL players, great nose tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders, just recently hung it up, just recently retired, and this is what he said about Donovan McNabb.
SAPP: This will follow you the rest of your career. Your legacy in this league, Donovan, will be throwing up at the Super Bowl, Rush Limbaugh, and now, ‘I didn’t know there were ties in the NFL.’
RUSH: (laughing) Warren Sapp on Donovan McNabb, ‘Your legacy…’ Play it again. ‘Your legacy in this league…’
