RUSH: Fourteen-year-old Danielle in Seminole, Texas. Hi, Danielle.
CALLER: Hi, Mr. Limbaugh. Thanks for having me on the show.
RUSH: It’s my pleasure. Glad that you called.
CALLER: Well, I was calling about something Hillary said during her speech at the Democratic Convention. She mentioned a couple times that John McCain was her friend, but she never actually mentioned that she liked Barack Obama except that he should be president, so you’ve gotta wonder where her allegiance lies.
RUSH: Where do you think her allegiance lies?
RUSH: Well, you know, I think the Clintons are patient people, but time is running out.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: And nothing that happens with the Clintons is a coincidence, and the Clintons are the kind of people that hold grudges and take notes. And while she made it appear that it wasn’t any big deal that she didn’t get vetted, believe me, it was, that she wasn’t even considered for this, this is something that she’s boiling mad at, she cannot be happy today, seeing what the Republicans did, and one —
CALLER: Especially since Governor Palin is now going to be the vice president for the Republicans.
RUSH: Exactly. Exactly. Now, let me ask you one question, Danielle.
CALLER: Yes?
RUSH: You’ve correctly, I think, assessed Mrs. Clinton’s view of Obama. Given that Mrs. Clinton probably has further political aspirations, do you think that she even will vote for Obama?
CALLER: I don’t know. I would probably say no considering that he didn’t even consider her for the vice presidency. So I’ve gotta say that she’s probably got a really big grudge going there.
RUSH: Not only that, the worst thing for Mrs. Clinton’s further future political aspirations, Danielle, would be for Obama to win this.
CALLER: Right.
RUSH: You’re very smart and very informed for 14.
CALLER: Well, thank you. I listen to your show all the time. My dad’s had it since I was like seven, and I’m homeschooled, so whenever you’re on, I’m like, ‘Dad, can you turn on Mr. Limbaugh?’
RUSH: Well, that’s fabulous. That makes me so happy to know that you’re out there in the audience, homeschooled, you’re a Rush Baby. That makes me excitedly happy! Danielle, thank you for calling.
CALLER: Thank you very much for having me. It’s a pleasure.
RUSH: You bet. Nice to talk to you, too.
