Ask someone to name just one memorable thing John Kerry has ever said. So far, the most memorable thing he’s said is, “I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it.” Now, don’t get the wrong idea. I’m not thinking this election is over and in the bag. I’m offering you a perspective at this particular moment in time. All the media spin in the world is not going to give the Democratic Party and the liberals any substance.
Everybody laughed about that kid that yawned behind Bush last week in Florida, but with Kerry the whole audience is a sleepy, dryball sad sack! There’s no excitement. You know, Kerry shouldn’t have done the Botox because he can’t even make facial expressions anymore. That’s why a lot of lawyers get this stuff, so they can’t show emotion or sweat.
Al Gore should have Botoxed his armpits. He probably just did Botox for that Rolling Stone cover where they airbrushed his package. Because Kerry is so weak, the Democrats are going to keep throwing out surrogates like Richard Clarke and Bob Woodward and John Dean and Ted Kennedy. Don’t think that the American people are being fooled by all this spin. Bush ought to be 30 points down if these people have the power that you fear they have with all they’ve thrown at Bush since he took office, and with where the economy has come from.
Instead, he’s leading Kerry in many key battleground states
