Well, now that there is new stuff to tell you, I decided I’d tell you about it on Monday’s program. I don’t want to run the risk of seeking any kind of reaction on your part, but I’m going to give it a try here. E-mail is a good indication of what the national mood is, after all, and since people are demanding to know, I had to tell them.
Where I last left it was that I had lost all the hearing in my left ear, and had about 10 to 15% hearing in my right ear, but that that amount of hearing did not allow for anything functional. No conversations, for example. Yet it allowed me to perceive noise, like hearing a door open and close, or people walk on a tile floor. I could sense a phone ringing, if the ringer tone was of a certain frequency, or I could hear my printers firing up.
