CALLER: Good morning, Mr. Limbaugh. Thank you for taking my call again.
RUSH: You’re quite welcome.
CALLER: I’m real excited.
RUSH: You bet.
CALLER: You bet. I originally called about one other thing but then I had said something about that I had unfortunately gone over to the dark side for a few years and now I’m back because I have seen the light, and I just —
RUSH: What do you mean you ‘went to the dark side’? What do you mean?
CALLER: I went over to the Democratic, liberal side, and ’cause I saw Clintons and I saw Hillary and for some reason being a female I was driven, you know? I kinda really liked Hillary and what she was going through, and how she stood by her husband and, you know, didn’t let that get her down and stuff so I was taken in by all that, and then —
RUSH: Well, that’s true. I can’t imagine the last time he ever had her down, but that’s another story.
CALLER: Yeah. Yeah.
RUSH: What…? You were conservative all this time —
CALLER: I was.
RUSH: — and then the Clintons inspired you to leave and become Democrat?
CALLER: Yeah, you know —
RUSH: What brought you back?
CALLER: Well, Obama.
RUSH: Why? What about Obama?
CALLER: Well, I just… I don’t know. I think now… You know, I was taken in by the whole Obama thing at first, you know?
RUSH: (sighs) Sheesh.
CALLER: And he’s this really great guy and he’s new and he’s different and he’s gonna do wonderful things for our country — and, you know, he lied just like all the others. To me. You know?
RUSH: (sighs) Well, I hope you don’t ever do this again.
CALLER: I promise.
RUSH: And if you…
CALLER: I promise.
RUSH: If you are ever tempted like this again, call me.
CALLER: I promise I will.
RUSH: Do you realize how many years of your life you’ve wasted?
CALLER: A lot. A lot.
RUSH: You can’t get ’em back.
CALLER: No. I know. I know. But I’m gonna try really hard, and, you know, as far as the election coming up, I kind of hope Sarah Palin runs. You know?
