RUSH: I left yesterday’s program with a promise that we would have details for you on a new suggestion made by Tina Brown of a new TV show called Brain Sex with Hillary Clinton. Well, since the end of yesterday’s program and the beginning of this one Cookie went out there and actually found the audio of Tina Brown suggesting this.
This was last Friday. This was a week ago. It was in New York at the 2018 Women in the World Summit. And at the 2018 Women in the World Summit, Hillary Clinton moderated a panel entitled The Gathering Threat. And the gathering threat was why the strong man tactics of the regimes of Putin, Xi Jinping of the ChiComs and others have such relevance to us here at home.
See, this is more disservice. Putin had nothing to do with the outcome of our election. The American people did! But the American people have been told for a year and a half their votes didn’t count. Democrat voters have been told that they were outfoxed and outsmarted, Trump cheated. They’re out for blood on a total hoax.
And nobody is trying to talk ’em down from their anger. It’s ripping the country apart, this stuff. It’s all because these Democrat establishment people cannot believe they’re not in power, that they were bested by an outsider. Anyway, Tina Brown was so impressed the way Hillary moderated the panel at the Women in the World Summit. She was blown away. This is what she said.
BROWN: I was sitting there thinking, this is bliss. This is brain sex. Okay? (applause) Total brain sex. Actually, I think this should be your — this is your new life, Hillary. This is your — this is your new TV show, Brain Sex with Hillary Clinton. (laughter and applause) I mean, just —
HILLARY: Oh God, I can’t wait for the Internet to hear that.
BROWN: Just convene all the smart brilliant women you talk to all the time and just put ’em out there all the time. Let’s just hear from them finally, okay?
HILLARY: Great idea.
RUSH: My God. Does that actually make you sick, thinking about this? Oh, my God. Oh, God. Brain sex? I can’t… Poor me. What a bunch of absolute bozos. Tina Brown, oh, so excited, brain sex (imitating Brown), “This actually should be your new life, Hillary. It should be your new TV show, Brain Sex with Hillary Clinton.” And all she says is a bunch of gibberish intermingled with a bunch of “you knows” every five or six words.
Hillary, by the way, remains in the news. In addition to Brain Sex with Hillary Clinton, there is a story, a new book from Amy Chozick. It may be pronounced Chozick. Revelations and rumors about a doomed Hillary campaign. She “writes that the Clinton campaign, which she covered from the beginning, had reacted furiously to the prospect of a Joe Biden run, as floated first in an August 2015 Maureen Dowd Times column.” And then Chozick herself picked it up and wrote about it in another story.
“In the book, she writes that ‘Biden had confided (off the record) to the White House press corps that he wanted to run, but he added something like “You guys don’t understand these people. The Clintons will try to destroy me.”‘”
So according to this book, Bite Me wanted to run, but he’s telling everybody if he did, the Clintons would destroy him. He’s absolutely right, by the way. I mean, go talk to Bob what’s his name, Bob Torricelli in New Jersey. Talk to Andrew Cuomo. And they’ll tell you what happens when Slick Willie decides that you need to step aside for the good of the party.
Another quote from the book. “Asked to comment on the book, a former campaign staffer who’s referred to in it as one of ‘The Guys’ told The Daily Beast: ‘The challenge on the campaign was that you had a reporter holding the Clintons to a higher standard through a lower standard of reporting. Amy was not always an honest broker, and this book seems to be more of the same. It ridicules people with a smile, contributing little to the public discourse.'”
Oh, the Clinton campaign not happy with Amy Chozick. And then there’s this. “Even as Trump surged in the polls, the Clinton camp still saw him as a danger to stronger candidates rather than such a candidate in his own right, Chozick reports, so that in August 2015, ‘when the main GOP debate came on, everyone pushed their pizza crust aside and stared transfixed at the TV set… [Campaign Manager] Robby [Mook] salivated when the debate came back on and Trump started to speak. “Shhhhh,” Robby said, practically pressing his nose up to the TV. “I’ve gahtz to get me some Trump.” Robby thought Rubio would be the nominee. Podesta was bullish on Kasich.” Bill and Hillary, though, feared Jeb Bush.
So this book is telling us the Hillary campaign, nobody thought Trump was gonna get anywhere. Well, very few did. Especially in 2015, right after he comes down the escalator. Anyway, the upshot of this is that in this book, Hillary Clinton on election night said in a whining rant, “They were never gonna let me be president. They were never going to let me be president.” You talk about — maybe she does qualify to host a TV show Brain Sex with Hillary Clinton. Brain Sex Victimization with Hillary Clinton.
This woman is one of the biggest whiners. I’ll tell you, folks, to a certain extent you can understand it. This is the most cheated-on woman in America. She has been promised things, assured things, the Democrats have thrown her aside a number of times, and all she did was save the party by sticking with her husband. They kicked her aside in 2008. She thinks that they didn’t help her in 2016 because they were never going to let her be president.
You see, in her mind, this is what happens to people who readily accept victim status. They really believe they have no control over their lives or their destiny. Once you willingly become a victim of something — men, society, victim of anti-feminism, whatever — then you are surrendering any control over your life. You have none. Everybody’s lined up stopping you and you cannot overcome them.
So Hillary clearly sees herself as a victim. And she has been. She’s a victim of her husband in certain ways. Somebody needs tell her to just be quiet now. Somebody needs to tell her to pack it in and try go somewhere where she can enjoy living. This bitterness and this wishing what might have been and feeling victimized and put upon, she’s gonna end up being miserable for the rest of her life, which I think she’s been most of her life, which is a sad thing for anybody to be.
But she’s clearly not happy. And somebody needs to grab her by the shoulders, say, “Look. Forget all of this. Your time is passed past. You gave it the best shot. Now go out and enjoy what you can.” Somebody needs to do that for her.
