RUSH: I saw this next story yesterday, and I didn’t believe it. I thought this was a joke. You never know out there what’s real anymore, and this to me seems like a joke ’cause the headline is: “Bill Gates: Europe Will Be Overwhelmed Unless it Stems Flow of Migrants.” Bill Gates thinks this? Bill Gates? Bill Gates, the guy who’s been in support of things like this? Bill Gates, who’s joining the chorus supporting illegal immigration in this country? He wouldn’t consider it illegal. He just is open borders.
“Microsoft founder Bill Gates has warned that Africa’s population explosion will overwhelm Europe unless the continent makes it more difficult for migrants to reach its shores. [Gates’] comments come as European leaders discuss what to do about the surging number of Africans arriving in Italy each week, with Rome calling for other European Union (EU) nations to open their ports to docking migrants so as to ease pressure on [Italy]. In an interview with the German Welt am Sonntag newspaper, Gates said massive population growth in Africa will result in ‘enormous [migratory] pressure’ on Europe unless countries increase overseas development aid payments.”
Ah, there it is!
Says the guy with $80 billion: We need governments to be giving more money to African nations so that they will be able to give that money to migrants so that they will stay in Africa and remain poor and hot rather than migrating to Europe. “Praising Germany having achieved its commitment to devote 0.7% of GDP to foreign aid as ‘phenomenal’, [Gates] called on ‘other European nations to follow its example.’ But Gates also spoke of a dilemma caused by ‘the German attitude to refugees,’ referring to Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to open Europe’s borders to illegal migrants arriving from the Third World.
“‘On the one hand you want to demonstrate generosity and take in refugees, but the more generous you are, the more word gets around about this — which in turn motivates more people…'” Wow, what brilliance! Do you believe that the founder of Microsoft is that smart? Whoa! Holy smokes! Nobody’s ever thought this before! This is such… This is concentrated brilliance. The brightness of the brilliance is blinding me. Let me repeat to you what Gates said.
He said, “On the one hand you want to demonstrate generosity and take in refugees, but the more generous you are, the more word gets around about this — which in turn motivates more people to leave Africa.” Nobody’s ever thought of that. Holy smokes! That explains why people are coming to America. Holy smokes, that explains — and we never saw it. It took the cofounder of Microsoft to enlighten us all about how people react to welfare and freebies. Shazam! I wish this guy would get into politics. Do you realize how smart we would all be overnight? I don’t believe it.
Have you ever heard this before, Snerdley? Have you ever heard…? (interruption) He said Germany can’t possibly take in the huge massive numbers of people who want to make their way to Europe. You just can’t do it. Breathtakingly brilliant, stunning, paralyzingly brilliant. “On one hand, you want to demonstrate generosity…” Generosity? Let me be serious. Is “generosity” what we’re really talking about here? “On the one hand, you want to demonstrate generosity” with other people’s money, of course, “and take in the refugees, but the more generous you are…” This is the brilliance, folks. This is what be nobility has seen.
I wonder if he’s told Warren Buffett this. You know what? I hope Gates is going to the media mogul thing at Sun Valley where he can tell all of them this, like the guy at Disney. Can you imagine if Tim Cook at Apple learned this? Holy smoke. The more word gets around that you’re giving away money, the more it is gonna motivate more people to ask for it and come for it. I’m embarrassed that I hadn’t thought of that. Wow. (interruption) Well, Bill Gates… (interruption) I guess this is… (interruption) Well, I mean… (interruption) Don’t get on my case. He said it and it got quoted. It’s right here in Breitbart. It’s in the AP.
Everybody thinks that this is unheard of cleverness and enlightened realization. And Gates, he arrived at this at a very young age. He’s 61 years old and he figured this out. Most people get it when they’re 12.
