RUSH: Your host, ladies and gentlemen, is also on an Obama Enemies List, according to Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News — formerly of CBS News. She did an interview with the Hollywood Reporter about her new book coming out. Paul Bond was the writer of the story and doing the interview, and he asked her, “Ms. Attkisson, why do you think that the Obama White House would target you as opposed to more partisan people like Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck?”

She said, “Well, the question carries the assumption that they haven’t targeted others. I kind of assume that I’m on a list. I don’t think I’m the only one — along with James Rosen and the Associated Press — that garnered special attention. There are probably a lot of people.” The Hollywood Reporter says, “So an Enemies List like in the Nixon administration?” Sharyl Attkisson says, “I’ve been told there is such a list, yes.”

Question: “And who do you suspect is on that list?” Answer: “Well, there’s an internal e-mail that indicated reporters who were working with leakers in government agencies are perceived as enemies of the White House are being targeted, so I think that’s probably accurate. Anybody they perceive as harmful to their agenda or working with leakers and whistleblowers, which I did a lot of.”

Question from Hollywood Reporter: “Do you have sources who told you the names on that list? Is Rush Limbaugh on that list, for example?” Answer: “Another reporter told me — I can’t remember who — that they thought he was on some sort of target list, but I don’t know that to be the case. Somebody told me the existence of a list, but not the names on it.”

So somebody told Sharyl Attkisson there’s a list and I’m on it. That’s another feather in the cap here, folks. Two in one day! The trifecta would be some TV show ripping Rush Revere and Liberty, and Rush Revere and the American Revolution. Not ripping it but, you know, just mentioning it. I didn’t even talk about the book yesterday; I got so caught up in the election. But it’s gangbusters. So, anyway, there’s that.
